Farmhouse news


This take on guacamole can be used as an accompaniment to your meal, a salsa or a tasty snack with totopos (corn chips).


2 medium or 1 large ripe avocado
1 fresh lime
1 medium tomato
Sliced Pickled Jalapeos
Sea Salt
Totopos (tortilla corn chips) to serve


1. Roughly smash the ripe avocado with a fork. Keep the mixture chunky.
2. Squeeze lime into avocado and gently mix in. If you want it zingy use all the lime, if you want it a little more subtle just use a half.
3. Cut tomato in half and scoop out the seeds and the fleshy interior of the fruit. Then roughly dice up the outter flesh and skin. Mix into the avocado.
4. Add sea salt to taste.
4. Finely chop up 4 - 5sliced pickled jalapeos. Mix into avocado. Place finished mix into a serving bowl and place a couple of slicedjalapeos on top as a garnish.
