Portuguese Wedges

This hot, crispy, spicy wedges are guaranteed to be a crowd favourite! The original recipe from Chef Bel’s grandma, had the potatoes deep fried in Olive Oil … today, you will not see a pan full of oil in sight in her home! So the oven it is… and it’s yummy!

Ingredients

6 Potatoes
Belicious Portuguese spice
Belicious Piri-Piri Sauce
Olive Oil
Lemon

Method


Wash and cut 6 potatoes alongside in eight slices each... you can leave the peel on if you like...

Add 1 tablespoon Belicious Portuguese spice to 50ml piri-piri, some olive oil and a juice of a lemon.

Mix with the wedges, then spread them on an oven proof dish, taking care to separate them for the hot air to flow and allow them to crisp...

Bake on 200 for 30 min. fan forced.
