Rutherglen Premium Lamb is Australia's original online supplier of premium lamb packs and milk fed lambs to households and restaurants since 2004. Our farm, St Leonards, is 10km north east of Wangaratta in the district of Londrigan, on deep sandy loam which is especially good for growing dryland lucerne, on the terrace above Reedy Creek with good underground stock water which is pumped to the troughs with windmills. Our butcher, Finer Food Pantry in Wangaratta, is renowed throughout NE Victoria, and has become a key partner with Rutherglen Lamb, setting new benchmarks for excellence in innovative cutting and packaging. Our product range features four lamb packs - Rutherglen Roast, Quick Cook, Chef's Choice, and Traditional. Each pack contains a whole lamb, fully boned, and each portion is vacuum packed and labelled for customer convenience. The minimum weight of each pack is 12kg. Our Milk Fed Baby Lamb is a specialist product for chefs and restaurateurs looking for year-round consistency and quality. Our chilled lamb is delivered by refrigerated courier to the customers' door.
We are kind to our lambs, and this is reflected in a very special product - a carefully prepared and cryovaced into meal-sized portions labelled for your convenience.
All of our chilled lamb is delivered to the customer by refrigerated courier.
It is essential that customers personally take delivery of our lamb products, as they are perishable and will be returned to the courier's coolstore if they are undeliverable. In the event of product being returned to the the coolstore, customers must arrange to pick up the boxed lamb at their own convenience.
Please freeze your chilled lamb on delivery, and keep any portions refrigerated that you will be using within three days. Jenny will call to check that you have received your lamb in good condition.
